Grimsel Pass (2,165m) is located near the source of the Rhone at the Rhone Glacier, close to the Grimsel (nuclear) Test Site, used for research into underground radioactive waste disposal. It connects the valley of the Rhone River in the canton of Valais and the Haslital (upper valley of the Aar river) in the canton of Bern. There's a speed trap on the Grimsel pass every day, and you'll find them around halfway down the pass (on the northern ramp there is a lake with a dam) using IR equipment. They don't usually spend more than 1-2 hours there per day, but take it easy anyway, the fines are harsh in these parts.
