THE DREAMCATCHER

We all live of our dreams, both the good ones and the bad. The Dreamcatcher is one of the most beautiful objects from Native American culture, you hang it somewhere in your home to filter out bad dreams.

The net of the Dreamcatcher filters night-time dreams, and only good dreams are able to flow through the centre opening. Bad dreams don’t know the way through, and get tangled up in the net. They dissolve and disappear at first light in the morning.

You keep the Dreamcatcher with you all your life, and the good power can be increased by attaching personal belongings.

The logo for Motorbike Europe, is a motorcycle dreamcatcher, illustrating all aspects of motorcycle life. The structure of the logo is based on seven angles, pointing to all corners of Europe.

All types of motorcyclist are represented. An Offroad tire in the top left corner, a Winter tire in the top right corner. The Racing-tire in the lower right side of the logo represents Mc-racing and Scooter Culture in Italy. Vintage-tire in the lower left side illustrate the Café Racer culture, in the 1950’s and 60’s in southern England and France. The Vintage-tire also represents custom bikes being built in Europe today.

The Mountain Ranges on both sides of the logo represents Mc-touring through the many mountain ranges of Europe. The Flames on the bottom of the Dreamcatcher represent the hot, dry climate of Spain and Portugal. Inspiration for this part of the logo comes from Arwen, the Celtic symbol of the Triple Flame, also from Viking mythology, where the flames were wooden carvings on the longboats. The flames also represent HotRod and Kustom Kulture.

Every European Country is represented in the three rings in the center of the logo.

Motorbike Europe is the Dreamcatcher of every motorcycle rider. A Dreamcatcher that will catch your good dreams and pass them along, 24 hours a day. In this way all of Europe’s motorcyclists can experience great adventures, no matter where the road may lead them to.
